Who is Statler Construction?
Hello, we are George and Jeremy Statler of Statler Construction, Inc. We are
proud to live and build in Southeast Iowa. Statler Construction, Inc. serves as
your local authorized builder for John Wick Homes, Wick Buildings, and our newest
production addition, Amwood Custom Homes. We built our first Wick Building in
1983, Wick Home in 1990, and most recently our first Amwood Custom Home in 2003.
Since that time, we have built over 200 buildings and 210 homes in the surrounding
areas. Averaging completion of 20-25 homes a year has placed Statler Construction,
Inc. as the top builder for John Wick Homes each of the last five years!
Statler Construction, Inc. serves as a general contractor to take the typical
construction headaches out of your new home or building project and provide you
with a guaranteed price that you can be proud of. We typically organize and coordinate
all aspects of the construction giving you a turn-key project, but are happy to
work with you if there are certain items you would like to take care of yourself.
We have put together a good team of quality subcontractors to assure your home
or building project is completed with the highest quality.

Statler, President - George was literally raised in construction with his
family moving into, remodeling, and out of 13 different homes in the 18 years
he was at home. George founded Statler Construction in 1983 when he started his
business part-time selling Wick Buildings throughout SE Iowa. In 1990 George built
his own home using the Wick Homes system and soon found himself building homes
and buildings full-time in Kalona and the surrounding areas. George generally
covers the actual construction phase of your project and spends most of his time
running between each project to make sure it is completed correctly and on time.

 Jeremy Statler,
Vice President - Bursting at the edges in 1997, George invited his oldest
son, Jeremy, into business with him. Jeremy brought to Statler Construction a
Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa,
and 3 years experience working for a general contractor in Los Angeles, CA as
a project/office manager. Jeremy is responsible for the office side of the business
and works with each customer to find the perfect home or building for their specific
needs and puts a price together once their home is selected.
